Hello Gekko users! 👋 We’re always working behind the scenes to make your experience smoother and simpler. Here’s a quick look at our latest updates and improvements to Gekko:

🕐 Faster Load Times for Accountants

We've improved the speed at which an accountant can use Gekko, meaning faster loading times and less waiting around.

🧾 Easier Invoice Management

  • New Timeline Entry for Copying Invoices: We've added a timeline entry when copying an invoice. This helps keeping a clear overview of your timeline.
  • “In Progress” Status for Invoices: You’ll see when an invoice is still being processed, so you’re always clear on its status.

🔔 Reduced Notification Clutter

We’ve fixed an issue that sometimes sent duplicate push notifications. Now, you’ll only receive one notification—no repeats!

🤖 Smarter Chatbot

Our GekkoBot has been upgraded with a more advanced AI (powered by GPT-4o). This means better answers to your financial questions. 

🐞 Other Small Fixes

Finally, we’ve tackled a few minor bugs to keep your Gekko experience as smooth as possible.

We’ve improved the list overview for accountants and fixed some bugs.

📊 Revenue and Expense Reports Fixed

We’ve resolved issues with revenue and expense reporting, fixing a bug that did not show a revenue bar.

🔍 Improved KVK Search

The KVK (Chamber of Commerce) search functionality has been fixed for more reliable results.

🧾 Clearer Invoice Reminders

The text of invoice reminders has been adjusted to make communication with your clients smoother.

🔗 Payment Links for Recurring Invoices

Recurring invoices can now include payment links, making it easier for your clients to pay on time.

Hello Gekko users! 👋 We’re back with this month’s updates to improve your experience. Here’s what’s new in Gekko:

🔗 Mollie Payment Page Updated & Now Available for Free Users

We’ve updated and improved the Mollie payment page, moving it to VUE for a smoother experience. Plus, Mollie is now available for free Basic users, making online payments even more accessible! Add a Mollie payment link directly when sending an invoice.

🧾 Fixes for Subscription Invoice Downloads

We’ve resolved an issue that affected downloading invoices from the Gekko subscription page.

📂 Trips Export Now Available on a Download Page

We’ve moved Trips exports to a dedicated download page, because the downloaded files were getting too large.

🚀 New: IB 2024 Service Page Launched

We’ve launched an IB 2024 Service for your Dutch Income Tax Returns, enabling you to plan an appointment to prepare your Income Tax Returns with Gekko!

🛠️ Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed multiple Mollie bugs for better payment reliability.
  • Fixed issues with team invites, so inviting team members is now hassle-free.
  • Resolved rounding errors when importing hours to invoices for more accurate calculations.
  • Fixed bank transaction using WooCommerce issue.
  • Fixed KVK address search issues for more accurate business lookups.
  • VAT report loading issues resolved, so reports don't get stuck.
  • Quotation fixes.

🔗 Mollie for Recurring Invoices

You can now select Mollie as a payment option when scheduling a recurring invoice. Plus, attached files will automatically be included with each invoice.

🚀 New Startup Wizard

We’ve introduced a new feature to help new users set up their Gekko account quickly and easily.

🧾 Add €0 Invoices

You can now add invoices with a total amount of €0, giving you more flexibility in your bookkeeping.

🛠️ Bug Fixes & Improvements

  • Fixed invoice upload issues.
  • Fixed multiple invoice lines when importing hours.
  • Resolved a rounding issue in the hours report.

📱 New Cost App Launched

We’ve launched an all-new Gekko Cost App to make it easier than ever to upload and manage your expenses on the go.

🤖 Smarter Cost Scanning

The cost scanning AI has been improved to better recognize details from your receipts.

🛡️ Improved Sign-Up & Login Security

We’ve made important security updates to the login and sign-up process, including fixes for a download data issue.

✍️ Smoother Onboarding

The sign-up wizard has been updated to make getting started with Gekko even easier for new users.

🧾 Mollie Payment Status Fix

We’ve fixed a bug where Mollie payment statuses were showing as expired for invoices.

📧 Quotation Email Fix

Quotation confirmation emails now work as expected, no more delivery issues or missing confirmations.

📁 Download & Document Fixes

  • Download issues in various parts of the app have been resolved.

  • The customer filter in the Documents section now works correctly again.

📘 Accountant Ledger Fix

We’ve corrected an issue with the cost type in accountant ledgers.

Hello Gekko users! 👋 Here's a fresh batch of updates to improve your experience with Gekko:

🔐 Easier Access with Google Login

You can now log in to Gekko using your Google account.

✍️ Smoother Sign-Up Experience

We’ve made the sign-up wizard and flow even more user-friendly for new users.

📥 Login Required for Downloads

To keep your data safe, logging into Gekko is now required to download files. Added for security.

📌 Better Cost Management

  • Added a checkbox for verifying and checking costs, helping you track what’s reviewed.

  • SmartScan improvements make reading receipts more accurate.

  • You can now see which bank transaction is linked to a specific cost entry.

💻 Interface & Feature Fixes

  • UBL downloads are now available from the invoice page.

  • The previous/next buttons in navigation have been fixed.

  • Improved messages when downloading files.

  • Rabobank widget added to invoices.

  • Updated notification on the Bank page for better status visibility.

🐞 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed a bug that blocked download pop-ups (though on iPad, some issues may still persist).

  • Archived contacts now work properly again.

  • Bank bug resolved for smoother transaction handling.

  • Fixed an issue in the accountants portal invoice list.

  • Fixed issues related to brands.

  • You can now create invoices in Caribbean Guilder (XCG).

  • Fixed a bug related to credit invoice payments showing incorrect info.
